2007 Wrap-Up

Yes! This is exactly the format I was going to employ. And Double Yes for 4Hero making #2 on your list! And Triple Yes for the shout to Blu & Exile... I'm going to stop reading now.

Play With Changes and Eardrum are definitely on my list. You really went all out with this list and covered all the bases. Reminding me that my idolator and village voice lists are way late, which means I'll probably never get to them. I 100% agree with you on the blue & exile and they'd actually probably make my top list. My favorite tv show would actually be a cable show -- Weeds. And I'd have to go with illdoctrine for best content site.

I love your list overall. A lot of diversity. I expected more hip-hop from you though given how much you listen to. :-) But overall, I <3 your list.
Ill Doctrine could top my site list as well but I think Jay Smooth is gonna get his shine on all over the place this year and I wanted to bubble someone up.

I do listen to a lot of hip-hop but I didn't get struck by a lot of "new" hip hop this year. I feel like all the interesting hip hop is happening on the mixtapes and I just haven't gotten on-board with mixtape culture.

More telling about me this year, however, is that I have no Stones Throw albums in my top 20 and Common's album didn't touch me at all. That's quite a transition from the last 2 or 3 years.
wow i didn't even notice the lack of stones throw and common. common didn't touch me either. i think i said somewhere else before of kanye, common, and talib - talib's was the best offering.

I still love ya, even though you listed Sensual Seduction as the best video of 2007.
