danah's Twitter Questions

I'm private so I know who is following me: Friends, SXSWers and Blog readers that don't freak me out.

This is only one of the reasons you are one of my favorite people currently inhabiting the planet. I cried laughing, because the identifer "blog readers that don't freak me out" should be a listed, confirmed and validated category that we all should (and likely do) use.

I tweet privately as well. Here's a question for you...how do you manage your list when someone wants to be added that you're hesitant to add? Do you ignore the request? I'm curious. May ask on Twitter as well...

Thanks RPM.

I used to do the ignore thing but now I just straight up decline. If we ain't peoples, I don't want you all up in my mind space.

That said, sometimes "Blog readers that only mildly freak me out" can win access by persistence.

God I wish I could just say that and be done with it. Perhaps I might...
I'm guessing I got through because I fall in the "not freaking anyone out" category. So, hey, thanks! :D

I haven't gone the private account route (yet) so I'm definitely very aware that anyone could stumble across my Twitter updates. But that's pretty much the way I operate on my blog(s) so for the most part it isn't confining. Will be moving and looking for a job soon though so I may go private then. Still thinking about that...
