Instructables: Magnetic Fridge Lights (Step 1)
The Project: Magnetic Fridge Lights
The Reason: Interestingness
The Task: Purchase of tools required to complete the project: sodering gun, exacto knife, needle nose pliers, wire clippers. Other items: hammer, tool bag.
The Experience: I'm so not handy. Until today, tools that I own have consisted entirely of a power drill and a screw driver kit. I have the power drill mostly because I'm too lazy to use the screw driver kit. I think my sister gaffled my hammer when she helped me move over the summer and I didn't even know until last week when I hung my magnetic dart board.
If armageddon comes, I'm so screwed.
Melissa and I were in Lowe's and it was as if we were an away team from Enterprise teleporting to a new planet for the first time. We hadn't a clue. I have a long list of things I need to purchase, many of them involving nickel. I have no idea what they look like, no idea what they might cost, nada zilch zero.
So, I just bought the tools on my list. Now, I need to find an electronics store. Think Radio Shack has nickel, copper and LED lights in high quantities?
