Last.fm Says: Lamb & Just Jack
My two favorite internet days may be Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, last.fm updates my weekly charts (most of the time) and on Monday, last.fm recommends new music based on what I listened to previously. We didn't get updated recommendations last week but got new ones last night so while I consider Lou Reed, Elvis Costello, Grandaddy, Paul Simon, Tricky, Morcheeba, Danger Mouse, and Susanna and the Magical Orchestra this week, here are two recent suggestions that I really enjoyed:
Lamb’s talents lie in their constant invention, evolution and an appetite for doing things in a less obvious way to their counterparts. Andy’s love for technology new and old allows them to experiment and make sounds that other bands would die for; the main currency of Lamb however is Louise's voice, instantly recognisable, it's a voice that could visit you in your dreams or nightmares.

-about.comWho is Just Jack? The twenty-seven year old North London native is as hard to define as his debut album Outer Marker which spans all genres of electronic music. He raps without gangsta bravado and even sings, each song sharing his grasp for observational storytelling and keen nature for communicating his vision.

Remind me that I owe you Dreamgirls and the Philadelphia Experiment when we do Amoeba on Saturday

Thanks, J. I've got Jenny stuck in my head now. :)
I'm gonna walk to the corner of my office and sob for an hour.
