I get all my books by subscription once a month so I don't go into the comic book store too often. I've always been more of a DC guy. Crisis on Infinite Earths when I was kid pretty much hooked me. I like the Ultimate line for Marvel and then some of their high profile written books (Astonishing X-Men, New Avengers, Black Panther, Squadron Supreme) but I'm a sucker for Justice League, Teen Titans and The Outsiders. Besides that, 52 and the "One Year Later" story arcs have been very enjoyable.
Hopluv, I couldn't bring myself to watch that thing.
I read books like Y The Last Man and some of the other "headier" stuff in the trade paperbacks when I can. I'm not big on the trades for some reason with standard superhero books. I'm a sucker for episodic media so monthly books really appeal to how I like to consume stuff.

So did you make your Wednesday run for comics at lunch? I go with Marvel people and you know how they are... DC ftw!
Have you seen the new reality show, Who Wants to be a Super Hero? It is stupid in my opinion lol.
Cruft,

Have you tried any of the Vertigo line? I really like Y The Last Man. I'm sticking with the trades though.
