Actually they are totally a California (Los Angeles-based) firm. This is the 2nd project they've participated in that I've been a part of that they've shown themselves to be lame.

The first was just bad design. This is just bad character.
I just laughed out loud. How did they actually send that out the door?
Wow! Unfortunately if you don't tell them they're culturally ignorant they probably won't get it and if you do, they still won't get it. I know of one women's contract with my company that wasn't renewed because she pissed off many of our translators by asking them if they could translate from Mexican to English. Once it was found out, she was quietly ushered out.
