Flux blog posted this recently. I listened to it this morning and laughed within the first 5 seconds and then smiled throughout. As if by magic, this site was covered in snow and all my holiday gifts were purchased.
My heart had grown two sizes too big.
Yo Yo Yo Kids FTW
p.s. mock this at your own risk. You might force me to post some Disney Channel Holiday tracks. I don't want to but I'll do it, you grinches.

This was the first song off of my Sunday Mornings playlist today. No foolin'. there's so much to consider in this video: Are the Boston boys trying to rep Brooklyn here? Why are they jumping around so much for no apparent reason? Donnie's mullet is spectacular! Jordan and Danny obviously drew the "who gets to play sort-of hip-hop" straw for this video. Why does the short haired female lead look like a slightly more feminine Joey? I feel like the vest was a common accessory for NKOTB videos during this era. Did it shift to whoever the lead singer was for a given song? I'm not sure I can go look for Right Stuff and Hangin' Tough to do the necessary research right now. New Kids should be taken in small doses.
You love it.

Oh my g-d, it's early.
A Race of Angels – Afrika Displaced is #18 on my last.fm top tracks but Golden is the video available on youtube.
I'm webcasting before the sun comes up but I've got a golden melody on my mind.

Black Love
Club Connected is the #10 song on my last.fm top tracks list but there isn't a video for that. I realized, though, that I hadn't seen a single Foreign Exchange video so a little searching brought me to this. Phonte and Nicolay and some dark skinned imagery in a pretty common hip hop video scenario.
The track is straight fire, though, so it makes up for the cliche.
